Now you know how I love to hear from everyone on DPC what they think of my vain attempts of being a photography enthusiast.

Let me know what you think of my new collection:

Peak District Walks

All of these were taken on my Holiday last week. I hope you enjoy, and thanks for even just looking - it means alot to me.

Cheers,

Iain

nice photos, love those trail photos and for the one called "Mam Tor Trail" I wish it had more land and less sky and your last photo called "Mam Tor Worship" is awesome

Very nice. I agree with Digitalpins, on both counts, though I see where you were going "Mam Tor Trail". The con trails add a lot of interest. Out of curiosity, did you try shooting it in Portrait? Cutting the left edge certainly wouldn't have hurt your image and you'd have less gradation of the sky from the polarizer. Just a thought.

The muted colors on many of your photos is nice as well. I've always liked that "nearly monochromatic" look.

Nice work.

Thanks for the comment, both here and on the image pages.

Anything to add from the evening crowd?

Really nice shots.
It's nice to see shots like this because i live about 5 minutes from being out in the peak district and I sometimes forget that.

Did you like little Castleton?
My claim to fame in life is that i've rolled (forward roly-poly's) down Mam Tor all the way.
About 450 rolls i think.
Thought that was pretty awesome myself.

Loved it. I've been to Castleton a few times, but this was the first time I stayed - Losehill Caravan site. Walked a total of 51miles last week and loved each one.

Thanks Linda, and thanks for the comments - very constructive - it will certainly help the next time I visit this place (or even re-visit the RAWS)

Some really nice images there, I really like that first ones, it's just so simple but keeps me looking at it. What processing are you doing...if any?
