Just did not get it done in enough time to enter.

Got the BLUE...woo hoo!

Glad I didn't enter this (though I do like it a lot):

There's noy as much drama in this

Couldn't decide which one I wanted but my bears were the sharpest...

And pasta, somehow I missed voting on yours but I agree, definitely the black and white. It's more visually impactual because it isn't as busy with color. Good choice.

My slow computer and ISP made me miss the deadline by a couple of minutes ... that and staying out to catch some sunset/fog pictures. This would have been my entry ...

Great concept GE. I like. Especially what I suppose could be the rock marks on the rock.

Thanks -- I think the white streaks are thin quartz inclusions, but most of the round marks are chips and scratches. Those scissors are probably about 80 years old -- the pinking shears which belonged to the grandfather of a friend of mine, who was a tailor in Brooklyn.

I didn't get this finished in time to enter but would appreciate comments on it anyway. Thanks.

This is a triptych of three window dispalys in Florence Italy, shot at night through the glass display windows. Obviously lighting and reflections would be a challenge.

Oh, and for our US ladies, if it's true fashion moves froom Europe to the US, this is what you'll be wearing soon, here.

I was in the process of editing mine and the challenge closed so I did not get it entred. Another surfer group- but this was actually just one shot, not set up, and not a composite of images. Any comments on how it might have done? Thanks for responces. The evolution from a land animal to a sea creature. I think I should have moved the second figure more towards the middle of his frame.

Dr, Confuser- I like your images. The light is great and technically excellent. The border works well with the color and the trio are definately related. I like that the poses are different. I probably would have scored a seven.

GeneralE: I think it would help yours more if the three images were the same size.

Ursula, how many ribbons should you be allowed to get before you're retired to the back room? I mean seriously, that's ridiculous! I think you guys with 10 or more should only be allowed to compete against each other.

And for you picure, very cute. You should have entered it under your other profile! Oops, sorry. Did I say that out loud? Heheh.
