Someone in another thread mentioned this. How would you feel if there were two wild card teams selected at random from the teams that didn't make the playoffs. Bad idea....Good idea???

I don't think I understand. But it sounds like a bad idea anyway. Maybe two wild card teams that do make the playoffs (that otherwise, wouldn't have). I dunno.

oh,i was just thinking it might be fun to throw an underdog team in there and it might be exciting to wait to see who is drawn at random. but i can see why folks wouldn't like it

I dunno about random, but a few wildcards based on overall average score would be an incentive to some of the teams stuck in really strong divisions.

agreed, i do feel kinda sorry for those teams with really high avg but who are in stroger divisions and so may not be first.

Cough... Oh, excuse me. =)

We're going to end up 2nd or 3rd in Division 1, behind the Ribbon Hogs naturally. I see that we would have been at the top of a couple other divisions. But since the division seeding was random, I'm quite ok with this.

Then again, being a middle child, I'm not very competitive anyway. =D

It ain't necessarily the average ... its how you match up week to week. GoldenEye is sitting at 3-1 in second place, even though our average is only fourth best in our division. We're tied with Trigger Happy, which has the best average in our division, but is gonna end up in third after we knock them out this week.

And take a look at Team With No Name ... 4-0 with an average of 5.2582 and a chance to play its way into the playoffs by knocking off Team Stranger, who got to 4-0 with a 6.0040 record.

Lets make it like the NBA ... play the whole season then let half the teams into the playoffs. Meanwhile, the other half hold a lottery for the right to draft one of the RibbonHogs on to their teams for the next season!
