I took this around Halloween last year:

It has the most favorites of any image in my portfolio otherwise I'd probably delete it. It freaks me out (and my fiancee too)

ETA: I'll probably be going with more the pleasant dreams I think...but you never know.

Mine is the most boring nightmare ever.. Looking at it makes me sleepy..
07/05/2007 04:58:03 AM · #19
i have a borderline personality disorder which is evident in the obsessive compulsive 'quality' time i spend with my camera .. i also have an attention deficit disorder because i cant give my attention to anything else other than my camera and become very easily bored when ppl try and engage me in meaningless chatter that doesnt involve cameras, photoshop and dpc .. i become manic depressive when become separated from my camera for any length of time .. separation means not having bodily contact, and because there would be the danger of breakage, i will not under any circumstances take my camera to bed with me ..
obviously when asleep i am aware of the broken connection, so my dreams are filled with nightmares about my camera getting lost, broken, dirty, stolen etc etc etc
it might sound boring to other ppl but the incrediblely detailed and involved story lines keep me entertained all night .. its like my own personal horror movie ..
i wasnt going to enter the dream/nightmare challenges and dichotomy just seemed to hard .. after writing this insane ramble i think i'll try and put something in nightmare after all .. it will involve my camera .. how i'm going to shoot the camera while shooting with the camera could pose a few problems .. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated .. :):) .. over and out ..

Use the self timer, press the button, then quickly switch the camera around to take a photo of itself.

If I take a photo of a seemingly normal scene that came to me quite frequently as a nightmare when I was a child, people won't get it will they?
