Another attempt I did on a shot I've always loved. Laine only gave me a dozen shots and I couldn't get the look or perspective quite right.

Here is the outtake. I really like this one too and I think it is more like the original "Beacon" picture taken by mad_brewer

I could never get the birds to fly close enough to fill the frame while still having the pier in the background.

I took this for the challenge but my computer crashed basically one hour into editing it so I couldn't enter it. My computer wiz of a husband was able to fix it an now I'm back online. YAY! Anyway, please let me know what you think. I was really bummed that I couldn't enter it because we had so much fun doing it.

The original was done by Larus in the Pop Cultrue Challenge.

I so wanted to enter the Ducky version, but with the challenge description, spoofs didn't seem like the best choice.

after seeing them both together I tried again on the editing.
