Congrats to the winners.

Week 1 is usually the worst. If you see an error please point it out to me now so I can fix it.

This is what I hoped didn't happen DD. Poland are the winners. The 10 points are too much for winning the weekly challenges. If they win next week you can say this is over, all other teams have no chance to win.

Points should have been something closer to this.

1st 10pts
2nd 9pts
3rd 8pts
4th 7pts
5th 6pts
6th 5pts

This would give all teams a better chance and make the whole competition more fun for everyone for a longer time. Now after 2 weeks i'm ready to throw in the towel.

Congrats Poland. :)

Many thanks Dirt_Diver for calculating the scores.

Well done Poland!

I said something like that a while back. I think I will change the point system because I don't like it the way it is. Juilet that cool with you?

2nd 8pts
3rd 6pts
4th 4pts
5th 2pts
6th 1pts

Thanks for the congrats but I feel you are ready to throw in the towel, so to speak, because 3 of your team didnt bother to submit. I think if you had a bit more comitment from your team you might have clocked up some points this week. I sympathise with you.

I agree that the scoring system is heavily weighted towards first place finishes.

Perhaps 1st place = 1x number of teams, 2nd place = (1 x nmumber of teams)-1 so first would be 13 points, last would be 1 point, could work. Or start with 12 and last gets zero. Either way no massive tie at the bottom.

However, that being said, we started with a set of rules and flawed though they might be, we all signed up knowing the rules.

If I were on the Polish team, I wouldn't want someone changing the rules now. Then again, if I were on the Polish team, they might not be winning. ;-)

My opinions are mine only and do not necessarily reflect the views of my teammates.
