LOL, never been into Scooby Doo...maybe I should give it a try ;o) Thanks for the laptop suggestion btw, I actually left mine with Andi last weekend and can't persuade the old boy to visit me in hospital...think he's afraid he'll have to buy me flowers or something ;o) so I'll just have to make do with the DVD player thing till Ecce Signum feels the need for flowers and/or grapes has passed ;o)

Can anyone tell me if the Da Vinci Code movie was as good as the book?

I saw a great movie the other night called `Pans Labyrinth`, its a spanish language film with english subtitles but man o man was it good. I didnt know what to expect from it but it took me by surprise.. check it out on IMDB to see if it would be your cup of tea.

If not, then get yourself some "Carry on.." films... always good for a laugh, especially

Carry on Camping
Carry on Henry
Carry on at your Convinience
Carry on Cleo (infamy! infamy! they've all got it in for me!)
Carry on Doctor
Carry on Girls
Carry on Abroad

the others are all a bit hit or miss though.

Go with good comedy movies. Hospital stays are usually a drag. Laughter is the best medicine you can have, unless ofcourse they offer you some Morphine and Valium.

For a photographic theme, and because it's very funny. "Calendar Girls"
"Love Actually". Marx Brothers. "Bambi Meets Godzilla" (well, maybe that one's too short ;-Þ)

The bucket list. Well as long as the reason for going to the hospital is not life threatening.

Second Hand Lions is one of my all time favorites.

I thought the movie was pretty good personally but they never seem to be as good as the book. I would recommend it though.

Rent TV seasons. Like House, get caught up for the new season on TV :P Heroes, Lost are great too!

I just watched "The Bank Job" that was an awesome movie and the story is way intreging(sp). It is based on a true bank robery that happened in 1971. Was reading online on a London newspaper that said the writers of the film had their own 'deep throat' to help with the script and what happened and they won't disclose his name. But at the end of the movie it had a thing that said "Names have been changed to protect the guilty". Awesome movie!
