You are genuinely spoiled rotten. You do realize that, yes? :-)

Paul, how can you even keep track of challenge titles at this point? I'm sure I've probably duplicated and don't even know it. I may go with "Untitled" and just start numbering them. Or just Untitled #7, repeatedly....
09/15/2009 11:04:09 AM · #253
I recently entered an "untitled" too! LOL! I didn't mean to, but sometimes type that in when I can't think of anything right away and come back and change it later. I just forgot to come back and change it.

It should. Being a grown up sucks except for the part where you can drink whatever you want. LOL!

Oh - you're going to be a grown-up.
Sorry, I don't have any relevant knowledge in that area...

Wish I could help you out, snaffly, but don't know if I'd be of much use! And move to Canada, the drinking age is 19 in most of Canada (except Quebec where it's 18).

Yeah, being an adult does mean freedom...but also means responsibility. Now there's a deep thought :-)

Belgium, yay or nay? Some posted at flickr already. To post here I have to upload and date and all, then have five people view them, and get one or two comments. Worth it to you guys? You're the only ones who matter. :-)

What about Belgium? I think I missed something here...

I hear you may or may not have entered a challenge!

I went to Belgium. I took pictures. I often post pictures and stories about my adventures in Europe, but it takes a bit of time and effort and I want to make sure more than one person (my mom) will look at them. And yes, I may or may not have entered a challenge, and with what I consider a lovely DPC friendly image. I have the more interesting HDR images in my portfolio....

I always go and look when you say I have new photos so if you post here I will go look see and comment. On another note would anyone know why my lens would show what looks like water spots shooting in AV mode but does not show it shooting in TV mode?

If they are dust bunnies, they will show up more prominently at small apertures, so I guess it depends what aperture you're using in Av mode.

Belgium.

Beautiful country! But a couple bits of advice: if traveling there by car from Germany, stop to pee before you leave Germany. From Germany you hit a few minutes of the Netherlands, then you're into Belgium and there aren't any rest stops with WCs until you almost get to Brussels. From Brussels to Brugge there are decent rest stops, but again, from Brugge to Gent you won't find a rest stop or autohof with gas available. So be prepared! (Granted, Belgium is a small country - most Belgians just know where to find gas stations and such...)

Go when mussels are in season. They are delicious!! Have them frequently.

Buy chocolate. This goes without saying. And no, I didn't buy any to share. Sorry about that.

We have some very nice and kind DPC'ers in Belgium - Ralitza hosted me in Brussels and put me up for the night (DPC name is dreamy), and Bianca met me in Brugge and showed me around all day (DPC name is anotherday).

Definitely worth a visit if you get the chance!

Some pictures loaded to my portfolio here; more are on my flickr page, where I have many pictures with no views that are quite lonely and feeling unloved.... :-)

argh, just popped into your flickr stuff. I can't leave a comment, because I don't have an account. Ok, I say to myself, I'll make one later and comment then, I'll just browse a little. urgh. too many things I wanted to comment on!

so here:

Oooh I like that one!

That is so cool, why didn't you crop off the other half and just leave it as that?

what is that? I don't understand...

I like the perspective on this one!

the only one I didn't like so far. The crop is just weird.

Gotta go get my son to his baseball game. I comment more later on :D

Having been a grown-up for, well, longer than I care to admit, I will say with all my heart that it is completely and totally over-rated.

Oh, and I don't know a single person who waited until they were of 'legal' age before drinking.

Chicago is in Illinois so yep, pretty close relatively speaking. Of course you could come and visit, and obviously take pix...just maybe PM Quigley so you have some idea as to what to expect!

Sorry to disappoint -- I was one... But I guess we haven't met. Hi, I'm Wendy! :D
