I understood it as "A Halloween theme", with the "spooky" part being merely a suggestion for anyone who does not participate in Halloween. |

You know, I wondered how people would interpret it that way. The text is
"A Halloween theme for October 31st. For those that do not celebrate Halloween, just photograph something spooky!"
It could be inferred that the halloween shot should be spooky, but I, and apparently a lot of others, took that to be a way to explain halloween to those in non halloween-celebrating countries. If you look at the previous two halloween challenges, the entries for them were fairly broad-based. This being "halloween III", I would have expected more of the same. |

Holding steady. Maybe it'll finish above a 6.0. That would be nice.
An interesting note, I got selected for validation. Don't know if it's random, or if my shot looks wrong somehow. Anyway, a little excitement in an otherwise dull Monday is always welcome.
