I think as we start getting closer to the dates involved, we can start a list of who's going to stay where and for how long. I'm thinking I can't possibly start a new job until after this is over. Or I'll be taking vacation time without pay, which is just fine, too!

jimmy ( SJCarter) and i are tentatively planning on driving up together and getting a place. maybe we could pool for a suite? also, there are a number of executive stay places that have great weekend rooms and rates.

Please add me to the list. Robert (Bear_Music) and I will be coming together from Cape Cod. Thanks.

Mark me down as very probable. My brother-in-law is a musician in NY so I can crash at his pad. This sounds great!!

I am a probable as well.

This sounds like fun! I would love to go for a day if I have the $ for a train ticket. Ihave 6 months to save!

This sounds like way too much fun to miss. I'm putting it on my calendar.

I'd love to shoot in NYC. Never been there with a real camera before. I'm a bit curious as to how this gathering of the masses will be managed. I don't know for sure but 50+ DPCers in one place may be the largest such gathering on record. This will be interesting :D

From experience I would guess that only 4 out of 10 will make it

This sounds cool. Is there a list to get on for updates? I'd like to be added to that. Anyone want to carpool from Ohio? lol

That is a HUGE GTG - someone is going to have to get a groupshot of that one.

We just bought a house, so it's not that sure if we can make it :-)

I need to find a place nearish the Vienna Metro that I can ditch my car. I'd probably take the Bolt Bus up, and I'm trying to decide if I'm brave enough to bring my bicycle.

Give me a date and I could probably be there. I'd probably be hungover (from going out the night/nights before, but that's when I get my best non-people shots).

I'll probably take the train from New Haven to GCT. Is anyone from or passing through SE CT want to meet or carpool to New Haven? If so, send me a PM.

Is it okay for this country fellow to assume that if he can get to GCT, that's good? Then I can leave my car here at home?

Do you have a train in front of your house? LOL! I think I can get a train in from Cherry Hill, but I still have to check that out.

Well, that depends....do you plan on taking THIS train:

Nice shot by the way.

It's GONE!!!

They hacked all five of 'em up, and carted off the remains.

I'm debating. I'd be traveling alone and would so love to go, but don't know anyone that lives in that area. I'd be in the "anyone need a hotel roommate" category. Also depends on how cheap I can get a flight. Would anyone be traveling through DFW or Love Field? :)
