I think I’ve got everyone up to this point, see the end of this post. (sorry for those I missed on the last go round).

Probably not on both ... we may have trouble getting a critical mass for the categories we have, and adding more categories or splitting the ones we have may make it that much more difficult to more than a handful of entrants in each category.
The one category I may add is “Urban/Street” if there is enough interest posted in the thread, since that one doesn’t have as much overlap with the existing categories, except possibly Travel. We could combine that with the Travel category, but they are a bit of a different animal. Post your thoughts today and I’ll update the thread later if there seems to be enough interest.

This one works different from most side challenges, where you post your entry in the side challenge thread. Since this one is tied to a site challenge, you don’t post your entry here, or anywhere. We just wait til the end of the challenge, and then use the official votes to determine the initial winners here (and possibly a jury to pick another set of winners too, post-challenge). Smack talking and voter ranting is of course encouraged here once the voting starts!

Ok I'm a nitwit - I didn't quite understand how this would work. I'm still in - heck it's no extra effort - but am thinking that an alt.BO2009 is still needed for the gutphotos, blurmurals and anticandy. Perhaps I can talk my dear departed husband into it ;-) |
