But how is it possible that this is the highest of 10 scores??
09/21/2011 10:45:24 AM · #10
That's the average of 10 scores. It's how the math works out when only one score is entered and then averaged with a bunch of zeroes.

It will certainly go up after the final challenge is factored in. We might not win this round but that won't be our final score for the week.

Disappointing...yes. But don't judge our team by one weak week. Underestimating us in week 3 would be a mistake!

Aha! I forgot it is average and non-entry is 0. Good luck with the last challenge! :)

Scoring Explained.

1. There are 7 photographers on each team.
2. The team average score is based on the top 4 scores from 4 different photographers.
3. Each photographer can only contribute 1 score per week.
4. Each photographer tries to enter as many challenges as possible to achieve the highest score possible for the week.
5. At the end of the week the top 4 scores from different photographers are divided by 4 to get the team score. (see week one above)

Note: Week two is not complete.

Hope this helps.

Yes you handed a free ride win to your opposition, leaving another team without a win in your group to flounder with no wins, but then it is a game or are you playing with tricks up your sleeve.

Well I hope to participate in the next WPL and maybe I can be voted an MVP. I'm saving my quarters hoping to get a cheep dSLR and lens soon. It seems every time I try to save a dollar here and there something comes up (like having to move) and I have to use it before I can buy a camera. Crossing fingers and hoping I can save up for one.

I'm just happy that everyone is enjoying the WPL and I enjoy doing it. It's my way of giving back to the community.
