Instigated and inspired by the esteemed messerschmitt, I would like to begin a side challenge for Pareidolia. You'll notice there's no date range here. It's an ongoing challenge. I think that's highly appropriate for the topic, which implies a certain amount of searching and/or serendipity. You can devote your energies to this topic or just keep it in the back of your mind for the next time Elvis Presley is burned into your toast.

No sign-ups required. All are welcome to participate.

P.S. I am open to some vagueness here, suggestiveness (as with my entry)... pareidolia does not have to be all faces. In other words, Rorschach blots are welcome.

Here are some ambiguous things I dug up from my portfolio:

Long may this thread live! Pareidolia is so much more suitable for a side challenge that is open to the serendipitous. We see these things often enough, but they can not be forced into time frames.

From portfolio - was a stretch for the "tree" challenge and the 4.6 score confirmed that. Wish it could have been timed for the pareidolia challenge.

I really thought that this is a true Picasso "Head of a Goat" having caught it in the snow outside the Met!

Never having received any amount of encouragement for this before, I think I can find a few in my portfolio too. I look forward to creating new ones as well as seeing those posted here by others. Exciting!

Do you ever submit to the temptation to add just a few helpful details? Like teeth? catchlights?

The sleeping man seemed so apparent to me, but others found him hard to find.
