I'm hoping to start a slow burning thread here. Travel is fun but the travelling itself can be tedious. Next time you're on a long journey use your camera phone and its onboard editing software to give us a flavour of it.
I'll kick off with a series of shots and edits I made today on a train journey from Birmingham to Manchester; I look forward to see if we get any other takers. I have to say it certainly made the journey go a little more quickly.

Birmingham to Manchester by train:
Shot with an iPhone 4S and edited with Snapseed (mostly) and a bit of Filterstorm Pro. |

Paul, that's a nice collection. Looks like the 4S does a pretty good job. What editing software are you using on your phone? |

I like the finished shots. I wonder if my el-cheapo Samsung can do cool stuff like that. I'll have to check it out, cool idea... I spend a lot of time commuting by train.

Instagram should save the photos to your camera roll by default. Otherwise you can sign up on an instagram web viewer such as //statigr.am/

I went for a walk yesterday. Had the big gear with me, but took this photo via phone to email it home.
Here are the original and the one tweaked with King Camera. I find it hard to do any decent "photoshopping" on such a tiny screen, but still think it looks pretty good for a phone! The third one had a quick Photoshop treatment on the computer.
Ugh... I am glad our profiles no longer show the thread killing stats!
