Just one of the many reasons why I love my 7D. It takes a licking and keeps on....um...clicking! You thought I was going to say ticking...didn't you. ;) What the whole thing to see the really harsh stuff.

Awesome, never could I have imagined the thing can return to life after the frozen beating! The 7D is great, a pleasure to work with, but my heart still tells me the 20D was the one. I loved my 20D.

Thanks for sharing.

Would love to see some tests like this on the current 1D series... anyone offering to loan a body?

Epic. Renewed respect for my 7D, but I also agree completely with the final message of this video: paraphrasing here "Stop coddling your professional level image maker like it's a contact lens."

There's nothing wrong with keeping a piece of equipment in great shape, clean on the inside where it matters, and functioning well. I just wonder how all of these people are constantly offering their cameras in "9+" condition. Maybe if you just sit in the studio all day, but geez...get out in the elements, crawl in the dirt, run in the rain, do what it takes to get the shot all the time, and I think a few little scuffs are inevitable.

Beating, burning, drowning, shooting, freezing, Hitting it with a truck, and throwing your camera down a flight of stairs is certainly one way of testing the ruggedness of your Camera, "And, it's fascinating to watch someone do that to their expensive camera", although, If it were me, I would just take it outta the box, carefully attach a lens, and enjoy it.

He' a bit of a Lunatic, but, Nice video....I think. :)
