Love the first vote 9!

Then followed with 3 votes averaging 4.6667 or 14 points. I like to think it was a 7, 6, and 1.

Next 3 were 6s.

Now at 7 x 5.8571

Throw away your expensive DSLR's!
My observation is that the overall quality of the images are just as good and some even better then what can be achieved with an expensive big heavy DSLR or even the new mirrorless breed of camera's. Therefore I believe that mobile phone camera's will in the not too far off future make obsolete completely all DSLR, mirrorless and compact camera's.

I expect this to sit with my glass score (4.5 and no comments) soon enough. The voters are correct about my shots. I've not been very motivated recently that is reflect in the efforts of my shots so it could be time for a short break.

4.8, close to what it deserves. makes the steady climb to 5 and i'll be pleased. i really phoned it in on this one.

can't believe i'm the first one that made that terrible joke.

ha! just noticed it was the FIRST joke. how awfully unobservant of me.

+1

I had a great time and learned a lot playing with my camera phone, but could never get what I wanted with some of my favorite subjects. A decent shot of puppies in motion, for example (darned close to wildlife if you ask me), never worked, even in "sports" mode. And while I could zoom or crop a wider shot of a bug, my macros were nothing to write home about, either. Some stuff it did well, but I'm not giving up the precision and control and versatility I've got with the dSLR.

Oh, and my score is around 5.2. Just to stay on topic :-)

I don't really see much purpose for the camera phone. Never been impressed with the results. I think I'd rather carry a point and shoot in a purse or something. One of the big difficulties is that the droid screen is so hard to see in the sunlight. When I took my shots, I had to guess whether or not I was getting what I wanted, because I couldn't really see it on the screen.

Glad to get back to my real camera. (but I always think it's worthwhile to experiment. :)
