Wow! It is excellent. Anybody else listen to this yet? I just got it from Itunes tonight, been waiting about a year it seems. It is well worth the wait.

Who ? are they some sort of pop music singers.

I get them confused with Sanford and Son.

I think you are mistaking DPC for some kind of cool and trendy discotheque, Kris. Full of beboppers and dolly birds all jiving to the beat.

I'm too busy cranking Japandroids to 11 to listen to anything else at the moment, but Mumford and Sons are pretty darn good. Haven't heard the new album but they were on SNL this past week. I'd imagine they made a lot of fans with their performance.

Geez, I guess there just isn't as many death metal fans here as I figured.

I just picked up Mastodon - The Hunter this morning. Finally found it without the bonus DVD.

Also purchased Mumford & Sons, Deadmau5, and High On Snakes.

I'm also a Sanford & Son fan. Grady was too cool.

Glad I saw this thread, during my first trip to Italy the only album we had was Mumford and Sons, so whenever I hear them I immediately have recollections from driving the E45. I didn't know they came out with a new album. Just listened to a lot of it on youtube, great stuff Kris.

Is he as grumpy on his new album as he is on his old one? I do enjoy his music though.

I saw them on SNL too (my kids make me watch it). The keyboard player needs to take a chill pill. He's a total distraction.

I prefer to listen to music, not watch it.

I saw them live at Red Rocks, it was awesome. If you look up the official video for I Will Wait, it is footage from the concert I was at. Then I saw them two days later at Jazz Aspen/Snowmass. It was a very good time. We took the kids to the JAS show, they were all dancing and having a great time.

Ashford & Simpson & Sons, and Womack & Womack & Sons were great too.

Love the Weakerthans. Caught them at the Crocodile in Seattle when they were touring for Left and Leaving. Bolted to the merch table to pick it up, and it still is in heavy rotation over a decade later.

Get the rest of their albums. And get John K. Samson's solo album.

BTW, almost everything I said was wrong. Mumford & Sons was not the opening band and it wasn't even the Beacon. It was the Bowery Ballroom.
