So I started running a promotion to hopefully generate more business. I posted it on my facebook business page and also shared it on my page I can see how many people the post reached, so quite a few have yet to see it. is it cool to re post the promotion in a few days in case it gets pushed down too far on some peoples news feed?

wish i could give you a better answer, but i can't. i just don't have that much faith in fb from a marketing standpoint. that is, in terms of using their tools. i think it's just too much of a crapshoot as to 1) who sees what when, and 2) who wants to see what if at all.

if it doesn't cost much, then there's probably not much harm in pushing it as far as your comfortable...and by that, ask yourself what you would be like to be pushed onto you. if what you're doing isn't something that you would readily respond to, then it might not be something to do.

in any event, let us know how it works out for you. hope it pays off!

thanks Skip. That's what i am toying with, how much i liked to be bugged. The promotion I am running is an incentive program, i.e. giving out gift cards for referring a paying customer to me. So its not the traditional spamming your customer base its paying them to advertise for me :).

I may throw a reminder out in a few days.

I have also started a photo blog to give me reason update my Facebook page during this slow period.
