Hi everyone,

So the question mark, it's something that's not set in stone just yet. There's a possibility I might have a chance to visit Paris and Versailles this Spring. I don't have much leeway as far as picking the time of year but personally wouldn't mind a day or two of a foggy Paris ;)

I'd be glad to meetup with any photogs. Also looking for any special recommendations e.g. great places with character not known to as many tourists, photo galleries, bookstores, just something out of the norm. Naturally I will visit the iconic spaces such as the Eiffel tower and the Louvre. For example, visiting Manhattan(NYC)... yeah you could trade stories of how you visited and went to the top of the Empire State Building but if you want a great view with that iconic building in your frame with the rest of the city, go to the Top Of The Rock. Tips like that. Wouldn't mind going slighty out of my way out of Paris if time will permit it. I will be on the lookout for some good eats. Gotta search for those macarons.

Thanks in advance. Cheers to all!

I'm going to be in Paris in April, too bad we'll miss each other :( I'll be there for about ten days though and staying with a Paris raised photographer. So hopefully I will have some good tips on where to go for you once I am back.

Staying with a photog is definitely a wise thing. I'll be going with a family friend who appreciates the fact of how I can meander in one place for too long. So I hope hehe. I've learnt to keep up with the group. If things go as planned this will be my first visit to France.

Wish you a safe and fun trip! :)

Yep, it's a go for May. Who's up for some street photography?

So much planning is involved. My friend will want to go to the top of the Eiffel... I found my Top of The Rock in Paris = The Montparnasse Tower. Will leave the latter for a sunset ;)

The booking at the official Eiffel's site is all booked up for May. Are those skip the line tours (at around 40 euros isn't exactly cheap but I have to compromise on this one) worth the cost vs. just getting there first thing in the morning?
