Not sure how many got a chance to read this article! It seems like from NJ I will be able to see the northern lights!

bah - the wonderful midwest spring we are having is going to put a nice cloudcover filter over all this...hopefully we'll catch a glimpse...

Ok -- It looked exciting. The headline was exciting. But if the mid-atlantic is the best place for viewing?? That's pretty sad. Even on a good day, you don't see much in the way of Northern Lights in the Mid-Atlantic!

Here I was hopeful for all you folks in the north...

If anyone wants to scoot out to my place I see baxillions of stars as I am in the middle of the country.....!!!!
My friend told me it should be decent here!
Any suggestions on how to set up for a shot at them? I've never done a night sky.....(well...:-) well!

Nuttin'..... all cloudy. There should be a DPC app where you can take a pix on ur cellie and instantly post it to a thread...

Extremely beautiful colors last night....shades of blues and greens I've never seen before...coupled with the constellations and smiling moon it made for one of those richly non-reproducible experiences....we are mere mortals.....

I'm fairly far south to see Aurora Borealis, but maybe tonight.
