Canon Professional Services at the Kentucky Derby

CPS technicians will be on hand to perform Clean & Check services on all current Canon DLSR bodies and lenses (Clean & Check items are limited to two pieces per person). Evaluation loan equipment will be available at this event for CPS members on a first-come-first-serve basis.

there will be pros.

Considering they've banned SLRs at the derby -- I think they're going to be very bored...

not really. there are tons of credentialed pros there. and there will probably be a ton of CPS members there wishing they could get credentials.

if a dslr was a viable option to turn into a weapon, dont you think the terrorists would have used it already?

i mean, is there a better way to smuggle a weapon into an event?

They've banned detachable lens cameras for the audience, not professionals who are covering it.

there was a time that you had to prove you were a working pro to get a membership; now all you have to do is have some gear...
