When I got home today I checked my e-mail and saw a Fireworks challenge, and I thought oh how cool I haven't entered in a while, but will consider this. Then I saw it was expert....really? Why?

SMH!

Not a single entry yet. Maybe nobody will enter. Doubt that has ever happened.

Someone will enter. There have been some really nice firework shots in the past but being that it is expert editing I'm sure there are some that won't have to shoot fireworks to enter. You can just create them into a scene.

Expert editing means you can decide whose butt they come outta ;-)

I actually made use of the expert editing unexpectedly. Sometimes it's nice to have all of the leeway. :)

This was one challenge where I actually appreciated the expert rules.

I used it to my advantage, not that I think my photo will do well, but I did want to share more than just one of my shots. :)

seriously. why would i want to put one of my in-camera shots against the photoshop wizardry that dominates expert challenges?

i just can't compete in that rule set.

Maybe to take advantage of the technique described in the "Grande Finale" Tutorial ...

So if you get lucky and actually do well, you can then subsequently bring it up any time someone says stuff like that. :D
