Welcome to this week's "Member of the Week" post (brought to you by Art Roflmao this week). Every week Karen will post the name of a member and a link to their profile. This will be our Member of the Week. Go have a look at their profile page and/or portfolio. Enjoy their photos, leave some comments and most of all post one or two of their photos in this thread so others can see them and enjoy them. If you like you can also write a little blurb saying why you enjoy this member's photos.

This week's Member of the Week is KarenNfld (LONG overdue). And here are a few of her photos.

Thanks Ken, it's about time!!!

There's just so much to love about Karen's work!

I could make this a mile long, really too many to even choose from.

Let's start with two out of the three of her images I have selected as favorites long ago:

Both of these are just amazing - especially that flower!! WOW

But, it goes on seemingly infinitely.. Her work is awesome. Here's another four that are totally worth visiting! But really, just go absorb the whole thing, it's awesome.

What a great idea.
Each week Karen puts someone else in the spotlights and this is the perfect opportunity to change roles for once.
Nice initiative Ken

She has such amazing photographs and knows to turn everything, even plastic, into art

Let's not forget her paper art

Leave it to Ken to think of showcasing KarenNfld and her portfolio.
First, her portfolio is organized so beautifully, it's a joy to wander through it.
The way those side challenges are laid out is amazing! Here are a few favorites:
Karen makes the 'frozen north' look magical...
And "Fred's" downtown is wonderful...
That little song sparrow must have been hard to find...
The mundane, when really seen can be spectacular...
Originality is front and center with Karen...

*For the record, credit for this thread should be split between ambaker, who first voiced Karen's MIA status, and with Karen herself for creating this idea.

To many great shots to choose from. This shot however always makes me hungry and it looks like I can reach out and grab any piece of candy I want.

Congrats Karen on being member of the week, and thank you for creating this long standing tradition for the DPC community.

Because I'm so limited on my usage of DPC ...I just wanted to say thank you Karen for your tireless contribution to DPC...I'm hoping that it will become easier for me to do a post here soon...as Karen has a meca of photos to choose from...fingers crossed that I can post more of MY favorites!!!

Thanks Art and everyone else, this is really nice. I haven't been entering many challenges lately, I think I need to get back at it. If it weren't for DPC I never would have taken half the photos in my portfolio - this site has really made me a more creative photographer. I appreciate all the comments, thanks again!

I like your choice Ken and the gesture. and Karen's stuff.
I also like the Member of the Week that Karen diligently posts. It's a good idea to pick a photographer from the pile and look at the whole portfolio.
