Your Orders | Your Account | Amazon.com
Payment Declined
Order #107-1715642-9244230
Hello Dr PJ Venter,
We're writing to let you know the payment for order has been declined. We're having trouble completing the payment for the above order. The issuing bank may have declined the charge if the name, expiration date, or ZIP Code you entered at Amazon.com does not exactly match the bank's information. Valid payment information must be received within 2 days, otherwise your order will be canceled.*

Please visit your Order Details to update the payment information for your order.

I have tried for weeks now to get these two books from Amazon. There is just some thing wrong between my banks and their banks and even though I even added a total of three cards, all with more than adequate funds, no luck.

I am begging is there any one out here who will allow me to pay the total cost of 10 day-postage option in to thier account and for that person then purchase those books as GIFTS for me.

My Address:
Dr PJ Venter
135-989
Daechung Tower 1038,
Gaepo dong,
Gangnam Gu,
Seoul, South Korea

PM me please?

Peter please post the direct links (address) for each item...that is easier (at least for me because I'm traveling). Once you have the link I'll order it for you....

I have prime membership so it "should be free shipping". Not sure sure as it is international??? Waiting to hear from Amazon as to HOW I can add your address to my address book on amazon.

Janine, go to "Your Account", about midway down the page is "Settings" and in that block is "Address Book", and within THAT is "Add New Address" - see if that will work for you.

I can get to the address book but it won't save the address...line break down is different from our US address'. It's ready to go as soon as I can get the address entered correctly

Ok Peter is the number sequence

135-989

You postal code/zip code ?

I don't have your postal code (I don't think???)

That is why I can't save it

Check your address and make sure it's right (in order)

ETA: usually the bottom line will read

Seoul, KOREA (number &/ letter sequence - postal code/zip)

That is what I need

135-989 is indeed my postal code. For Korea, note below exactly how it should be done, ie, the real info. Thx for trying.

I'll have this ordered by tonight....

My bank refused to accept charges from out of country without my prior approval. I didn't know this until I kept getting denied on a purchase from England. I changed to paypall and it went through. I then went to my bank and asked them what was up and they told me it was a purchase outside my normal spending habits and they were trying to prevent possible fraud.

I can do it but now I'm waiting for my daughter to get off wk and give me my CC#. Since this is my first order shipping out if country it's their security check to be sure I'm me and not someone else ;-p. it's in my cart and I got the address done now I just need the #. Sorry for the delay Peter...it will be on its way very soon.

It SOUNDS to me like Nathan was talking about a previous experience with international transactions. I could be wrong, but it's not my impression he's involved in this one.

I'm just not sure...I don't want to re-order...I'll let Nathan/Peter tell me if I should continue or not...

I know when we travel internationally we need to let the credit card people know that we will be using the card out of our area. It can't hurt to call customer service to let them know the transaction is coming and that you do, indeed, want this to ship to South Korea.

It's not so much that...I'm traveling (in US). Amazon has the policy that they will not send anything internationally without re-entering your CC# & pertanite information, to verify that you are you...I don't travel with my business cards...I don't need them...well today I needed it (rolling my eyes). Lesson learned carry at least one business card at all times!!! That is why I need to wait until my daughter gets hm and reads off my number(s). She just called...but now I don't know if I should order or not...I'm going to wait now to hear from either Nathan/Peter. If it's done I don't want to bugger things up by doing a 2nd order.

Yes, that's wise. It's a concern I expressed to Peter via PM when I was offering to help, since I was gonna be out all day.
10/20/2013 10:35:07 PM · #22
Talked to Nathan...I don't think he ordered anything...so it's it finally on it's way.

NOTE:

NO ONE TAKE ANY MORE ACTION ON THIS....

Peter let me know when it gets there...

Yes, Sorry for the confusion. I was relating to an instance I had with my own attempt to order something from Amazon that got denied by my bank.

The only place I've never been able to buy from is Gadget Infinity. They are based in Hong Kong and my bank put an automatic block on purchases from there. Even after calling the bank, I couldn't get the block lifted. I had to use a different card from another bank to make the purchase.

Nadine,
Crying buckets of tears. Books or roses, hug or a touch; anything from your heart weakens me. Thank you dear friend.
