Just wanted to reveal that my entry was actually not a night scene at all but was taken in full daylight.

Nice editing job — you might be interested in François Truffaut's film "Day For Night" about the tribulations of a movie director making a film where they similarly shoot in daylight but make it look like night-time (Best Foreign Film Oscar in 1973). |

That's cool, Fred. I went the same route with this shot, except in color: wanted to make it look like moonlight. We both got 17th-place finishes :-)
