the simplest way is this:
if you were to pay someone to create the presets for you to own and sell, what would it cost you?
add to that what it would cost to do all the packaging, marketing collateral/website development, etc.
if they were to pay you to do all the translations, what would you charge them?
that would give you a revenue share ratio.
for example, if it takes 500 hours to develop at $50/hr, that would be $25,000. the graphics/marketing/web stuff could easily take another $10,000. maybe another $5,000 for pr. and maybe another $10,000 to develop all the support materials and get the support infrastructure in place. sure, somebody could whip something together really quickly, but to have a polished, commercial product that is not only ready for market, but supportable, you could easily be looking at close to $50,000.
now to do the translation. yeah, that's going to take some work, but all the heavy lifting is done. it might take you 4 weeks working on it part time, maybe a week if you can do it full time. for grins, lets just say it will take you 50 hours and you value your time at $40/hr. that's $2,000.
so, your revenue split ratio would be at least 1/25, or 4%.
your mileage may vary...good luck!
