I've had this idea for awhile and thought it might be fun to invite all to participate. Here are the details:
Overview
Real simple concept, I will write a short story and you will take photos that will compliment the story.
Rules
Not many, but without any it wouldn't be much of a challenge.
1. Minimum of 3 photos.
2. Comment on other participants photos.
3. Be creative
4. Try different techniques (textures, compositing, etc)
Submission Timeline
1. The story will be released on July 1st.
2. Photos posted NLT 25 July.
3. Comments NLT 30 July.
Misc.
Looking for a volunteer to write another story so I can participate. Wouldn't be much of a challenge if I know what the story is ahead of time.
Let me know if you are interested and I will add you to the list of participants.

I'd love to participate in the picture taking. Story? hmm... not sure about that, but I won't rule it out at this stage.

Don and Cory started a similar side challenge back in January. It's been carried forward but participation has steadily dropped. Here is a link to the June photo essay challenges which includes links to previous side challenges.

| I would love this, but all my focus is on TPL at this time.. but I would be interested any other time if you decide to do some in the fall |

Thanks to everyone who was interested. I've decided to postpone this side challenge until later in the year. DPL and summer isn't very conducive to a side challenge.
Because every thread needs a photo ...
