I was invited to a GTG in Maine a few weeks ago with Ja-9, Denise, PHOTOKID and a few assorted friends and family, then met up with Neil at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse on the way back. Three of us managed a top 10 in the June Free Study, plus 13th and 46th. All of the following entries placed 15th or better in various challenges. I call that a productive GTG!

Yeah, and I was dealing with my surgery aftermath or you'd have invited me, right? Right...? Snif.... Looks like a heck of a GTG. I'm jealous.

Maybe we can see if Bear_Music is interested? He lives out on Cape Cod, so it wouldn't be a huge trip for him.

Makes me want to take my next vacation in Me. Great time of year for light.
I can never remember anyone here using F45. Are the soft rocks in Sky Bridge the result of diffraction or the HDR process?

Ah, that's so sweet :-) Bear hugs all around. Bad timing on the surgery. Penny and I love Maine.

Uh... that's a common phenomenon I call "typo." It was f/4.5.

It definitely was a really fun time and was great hanging with everyone and meeting new people. Would love to do it more often.

LOL, I thought there must have been some sort of GTG, given the number of entries in the FS!

ETA: A beautiful location, and some wonderful interpretations of same.

I had a blast on the GTG....We almost filled the Inn...lol I had cked about 3/4 wks before we left to see if we could add anymore people there was room at the Inn but not on the boat...so I didn't open it up for more...

But as you can see Bear...I certainly did think of you, besides Rick and I were looking for a round of Farkle to thump you. We also seriously considered coming to see you in the Cape...but alas I knew you were healing, so we will leave it for our next trip...

I'll tell you what going to Maine was the very best time. Super weather, good food and lots of good friends...I just wish I could bottle it all up!!!

Funny thing...I was in Maine in June and will be in the Keys in August...talk about 2 extremes!!!

F45 was the name also of a large format group 4x5 and over I believe, using also older D&P processes.
