Use composition, blur or any other strategy to emphasize the abstract in your street photography.

This would be a delightful challenge to shoot for, we'd all be level pegged as well.

I'd love to see this challenge run at the same time as something very concrete, like the current "Boats" suggestion. One challenge of each type, and two very different approaches people who really want to try to stretch themselves.

Great suggestion. I'm hoping the same logic can be applied at rollover tonight to balance out feathers.

Yes!

No, thank you.

Too specific... like Graveyards and Road Signs. :D

abstract is so specified. hmn.
06/17/2015 01:17:46 AM · #14
Yes. I like it because it's confounding. If it's clearly (pardon the pun) abstract, how could we know it's street? If it's clearly street, can it be abstract? Between lies imagination & curiosity, and no chess pieces.

I reckon Lydia might be having a wee joke with us, t-bird. If there be anyone who champions specificity, it be she.

Stumbled upon this. I'm sure some of these are probably not DPC editing friendly but I was quite taken with them.
