Is there still an original .jpg image (for EXIF) if an image has been viewed and rotated in Windows Photo Viewer?

I did search a bit in the forums to find it myself... but after the day I had today, I'd really just rather someone have extreme pity on me and just tell me.

I can use a file recovery program... if there's any hope.

IMO, the answer is almost certainly "no." The software almost always tags the file. If this is something you have yet to enter, as the SC in a ticket, and attach the candidate original. If it is an entry in voting, I'd go digging with recovery software...

Do you still have the original on your camera's memory card?

Apparently, I viewed the original on the card in Windows Photo Viewer and rotated it while I viewed it.

So... Uhhh....
