I recently acquired a Canon EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS lens and really like it on my 70D. I also have a 6D with 24-105 F4L IS but the digital lens seems to produces images that rival the L lens. Wondering what's the general consensus here as to which setup is better if you have to pick one. I kind of never really liked the zoom on FF but i am really enjoying the EF-S zoom lens - just love the images it is producing.

That 17-55 is simply better than the 24-105, otherwise best FF lenses are better than the best APS-C ones (most of the times). Hard to compare those two lenses. |
