Hi,
Im Deb, I used to visit this site many years ago and was reminded about it by a photographer friend last week, it kinda reminded me that I need to put some fun back into my photography and challenge myself again... so here I am.
Hope to chat with some of you soon and I look forward to seeing everyones work.

Welcome to the madhouse, Deb! Now make sure to follow the key rule of entering challenges here at DPC, and all will be good.
Read the rules. You would be amazed (or maybe not) at how many noobs' images get a DQ simply because they failed to do that one basic thing. Most challenges these days are Advanced Editing, so click on that ruleset and read and understand them. If you have any questions feel free to post them here and some of the many helpful veterans of this site will help you out. |

Hi Deb.
DPC is probably not going to be as busy as you remember it. There are still a lot of good people here who will enjoy having you join the mix and help keep things interesting here.
I checked out your photos, and you are very good at what you enjoy shooting.
As  snaffles mentioned, double check the rules before entering a challenge, and esp make sure your camera has the date and time set right.
There are also several threads about using different apps to download image files from your camera which modify the original files, making them unfit for "validation" should you get a top five shot and be asked to produce the original camera file.
