This forum was recommended to me so I thought I\'d have a look around. I\'ve been actively shooting for the past 7 or so years and on and off before then. I currently work with a 5D Mark II that I\'m absolutely in love with. My favorite subjects are nature, architecture/abandonments, and underground shots like caves and mines. I have been having fun expanding to portrait photography a bit but I\'m still getting the hang of that. I typically use my camera to document whatever adventures I go on whether it be exploring abandoned buildings, backpacking in the wilderness, or wandering around abandoned mines hundreds of feet underground.

Hi Gina - welcome!
I took a quick glance at you flickr account - quite impressive underground photos, that's really unique and I'm curious what you will show us here.
dpc will offer you a possibility to shoot away from your comfort zone if you accept the challenge and submit for the challenges. If you're not too shy to reach out you'll meet great people here as well - have fun! |

Welcome to DP Challenge.
Enjoy the site.
If you decide to enter challenges, be sure that your camera's clock is set to the correct date and time when you are shooting, and that you keep a copy of the unaltered original camera file. Many file transfer / editing programs alter the original camera files when you download from the card or camera. There are several discussions about that in the threads.
Those two things cause a lot of the DQ's in the challenges. |
