Was really torn on this one as I had 3 I liked. I had a favorite but asked 4 other photographers and one non and they all picked this one so I went with it. Did I make a mistake? I won't tell which I preferred, at least not yet.

I think your entry was much more interesting.

I think the one you entered had a lot more appeal as it had a lot more
interest to keep you looking at the image, the outtakes your eyes didn't
stay

To me you made the right choice. Your entry is just more interesting than the others.
Abstract is much harder than it looks there is a fine line between an abstract image and a blurry image. Look through the challenge again with that in mind and you'll see what I mean.
