My phone upgraded to Marshmallow and now when I plug it in via USB cord I can no longer "see" the phone. It says I can choose options for file transfer but when I do the menu simply disappears and I still can't see the phone. I sure as heck don't want to transfer pictures one at a time via email or some such.... Anyone know what I'm missing here?
Thanks! |

You say that you're eating marshmallows and... your phone is eating stuff?
And... you want to move some things... like... uhh... furniture?
I don't move furniture.
Sorry.

And your problem isn't that you're "seeing things"... it's that.. uhhh... you're "not seeing things"?
I do wish I could help.
I'd really love to help you.
Truly.

LOL! No, the problem is I'm not seeing things. I hate when that happens. It's just so much more fun when I AM seeing things!

Solved problem. Must use genuine USB cord that came with phone, not random USB cord found in drawer somewhere...
File transferring to commence shortly. Hopefully. |

Yah, but YOU weren't a Colonel in the USAF; Deb was trained to be sharp as a tack and twice as swift :-) |

I believe you are using Android File Transfer to move files around and if not use that, it is faster. |

Yup. When I "haul ass", I have to make two trips.
