My phone upgraded to Marshmallow and now when I plug it in via USB cord I can no longer "see" the phone. It says I can choose options for file transfer but when I do the menu simply disappears and I still can't see the phone. I sure as heck don't want to transfer pictures one at a time via email or some such.... Anyone know what I'm missing here?

Thanks!

You say that you're eating marshmallows and... your phone is eating stuff?

And... you want to move some things... like... uhh... furniture?

I don't move furniture.

Sorry.

And your problem isn't that you're "seeing things"... it's that.. uhhh... you're "not seeing things"?

I do wish I could help.

I'd really love to help you.

Truly.

LOL! No, the problem is I'm not seeing things. I hate when that happens. It's just so much more fun when I AM seeing things!

Solved problem. Must use genuine USB cord that came with phone, not random USB cord found in drawer somewhere...

File transferring to commence shortly. Hopefully.

Wow! That would have taken a bunch longer for me...

Kudos!

Yah, but YOU weren't a Colonel in the USAF; Deb was trained to be sharp as a tack and twice as swift :-)

I believe you are using Android File Transfer to move files around and if not use that, it is faster.

Yup. When I "haul ass", I have to make two trips.

Ha! That was YEARS ago. And in memory terms... well...

What were we talking about??
