| a revision of a contest entry so that I can link to it in my description. I want it viewable after roll-over through the description, but don't want it visible in my portfolio. |

| Put it in your Workshop folder and it won't be visible unless you provide a direct link (as you propose). I believe you can also make a new folder and hide it to achieve the same effect, or you can put it wherever you want and hide the image until after rollover. |

| So I link using the "insert thumbnail link" and not the "insert portfolio photo"? |

Right -- that will put a thumbnail in the other photo's description area, which will link to the new photo's display page. |
