Had lots of street stuff but I'm going through a beach period, god knows why.

I had a whole bunch of contenders including one which I'm still considering for Best of 2016.

I cut my outtakes down to 4:

Both of you, John and Gina, picked the right image and I left a comment to each during voting.

I'm glad you agree with my choice because I'm awful at making decisions. I think you picked the right one too. I was one of your 8s.

I kind of suspect my outtake would have scored higher - actually thought so when I entered. But I decided to try for a paragraph - which I doubt I will get but it was worth a shot.

- outtake

- entry

I got a paragraph! I got a paragraph! Thank you, sfalice I am both humbled and proud - is that possible?

Nikky,
I prefer the broom, art challenge or not. The complementary colors find a great place in this image.
I market 6 your entry. It lacked something in composition and in the visual message itself. In terms of technical merit, and this might surprise some, both images lack focus and they stay in the uncertain realm of sharp/non sharp without going to a definite and desired blur.
The life line idea is great and worth revisiting.

nam, I love the broom, the composition, the colours. and it is worth thinking how a broom could beat out the veining and curling of a leaf.

mariuca, your entry beats out hands down or up your other compositions. human interest is always trump a winner.

Ja-9, your entry concentrates on one magic move. the others are interesting, fun, but there is nothing to beat an exquisite single gasp.

@ Ja-9 - totally agree with Mark ant tnun but I love all images and I would print them in succession on a long piece of paper

@ tnun - so happy you edit your bad misuse of words - thank goodness you have always alternates (words not facts). I always look forward for your comments and pics
