and hopefully, this will goad Lydia into telling it :-) Personally, I think the image was a top-5 :-)

Jeez, I hope the answer is not data corruption or I'll have to go back and DROP a couple of points.

I thought is would be a Top 5 as well. I have a hunch on how it was done but hopefully she will spill the beans.

The Beans, Spilled:

Daughter and I were shooting... after I'd spend more than a few hours, cutting pencils, drilling holes in some, and then hot-gluing them (and my forefinger) to each other, then stringing them on the chain I bought... and she paused to text.

(She DID volunteer her time and her nakedness to me... so I had no complaint.)

I kept shooting and then looked at the preview and saw what you peeps see. HALF of my IMAGE was PINK!! Oh no!!

I immediately was saying "OH MY WORD!!! My camera shutter!! EEEK!!!"

I've had a shutter go out once before ( //www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREAD_ID=1184102&highlight=pink ) and knew I was doomed.

But, it continued to carry on... to my delight.

I found a few of the "regular" shots that I loved.

But, when I got to the "Pink One"... I fell in love (apparently along with only Bear... *sigh* which explains my score ).

I loved (and still do) how the break is on the thirds... and it's perfectly done so we can see part of her neck to see how graceful she is... yet it still shows enough of her face and the necklace in the Pink part to also be almost a full image.

I couldn't have planned it better.

But, it still bombed.

Oh well... at least the PUBLICITY that Bear has given the image will allow me to possibly generate some donations for a new shutter.

*rolleyes*

Message me for the address to send your donated camera to.

Thanks.
