I've Been thinking again!! and thought that body art is a accepted art form we should celebrate this
From the traditional Moko of the Maori and other People to the wild and wonderful art work of today. let loose the lens and produce a portrait of INK

Previously suggested under Tatoos - lukewarm response. Somewhat of a limited audience.

OH yes so Isee now never mind I won't push the issue

Well, could be a new day as it has been 4 years since last suggested. Maybe there's more support for it now? Personally, I don't know anyone with a tattoo. Could bring a new level of squeamish-ness (?word) to those that fear something in a similar vein like street candids. :-)

I'd be up for this (photographing body art, not getting any body art)

I'd be okay with this. I know a bunch of people with tattoos that might be willing to show off... Though as stated, it doesn't have to be tattoos...

I vote a resounding YES... IF it's Extended Editing ruleset.

Let us make our own tatts!

Kinda defeats the purpose, I would think?

But far less dangerous than getting a real piercing.

My opinion on the matter... I don't think extended is necessary. Honestly, I wouldn't mind it not being extended so that you had to either a) find someone with art on them already... or an even better option b) create art on someone's body with paint or something. The creativity that could ensue with this challenge might be fun.

ETA - I wouldn't be upset with an extended, I'm just saying my 2 pennies worth...

FWIW, my preference for this challenge would also be Standard Editing. And marKo made a good suggestion - body paint, henna, etc. No good reason for extended editing.

So... actual paint works? Not just INK?

Of course! Body+art is the idea. Ritual scarification and self-mutilation also fit in here, as do elaborate piercings etc etc. I don't think we'd restrict it to "ink" in the challenge description...

Then, I'm in in Standard Editing.

You may all sleep well now, not having to worry about me not participating.

*rolleyes*

I'm more disappointed that you don't take the opportunity to get that tramp stamp you've secretly wanted for years.
