This is pretty incredible. GoPro's size, durability, cost and video quality allow nearly anyone to offer a glimpse of our world from places and vantage points that would have hardly seemed possible a few years ago.

Video is choppy on my computer -- I can take it or lava it ... and forget the GoPro -- they say it was destroyed -- but how tough is that memory card!

The GoPro actually survived, to the degree that it was still taking pics when they excavated it, and we saw the excavation from the camera's POV. The HOUSING was destroyed, but it was still reasonably functional. TUFF!

Poor thing. Watching that ooze of fire approaching and knowing it was done for.
