Thanks to everyone who commented on my postcard challenge image:

//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=20331

Nobody guessed that the light coming through the tree was not the sun, but rather a streetlight. The shot was taken at a long distance with a full one second exposure and I had to adjust the contrast/brightness to get the tree to come out a little better.

Many said it was not the best shot for a postcard and I agree, but I thought that the effect was so neat that I could not pass up the chance to use it. It was just too much fun to take the shot in my backyard at 6AM that morning.

Thanks again to all those who gave comments!!

Way to go Whitetiger.
It's not always about score/points and ribbons.
You have to play, experiment, and test the waters. It's important that you like it and are having fun.
It's a cool shot, maybe you should develop other shots along that line.
