1 view, no score -- I'm predicting a good score for this one - I was very photographically obsessed in 2002.

Well I didn't get to turn mine in. I had it ready to go and submitted, and it didn't let me do it.. I didn't have the file size small enough. Ah well... no biggie. :)

Good Luck you guys!! :)

I got my first digital camera as a Christmas present to myself in 2002. I discovered, at the very last minute, that I'd taken some pictures before the end on the year. I submited one of them to this challenge. ;)

Please don't trash it badly as 2002 was not that great a year for me. :)

Hmmmmm... I see that, so far, I might have been smarter to have withheld entering this challenge and saving voters the agony of voting on my choice. Oh well, live and learn. ;)

Me too. Wow I didn't think it was really that bad. I guess on the plus side at least I know I have improved.

I actually went out on two photo safaris right at the end of 2002 with my new digital camera. They were very different types of images in each one, but I liked many from both. That is the only reason I decided to enter one to this challenge.

Obviously, based on a very low score, I did not do a good job choosing one or preparing it. Hope folks just decide to skip mine to vote on good ones. :)

I hate wasting voter's time.

The positive about this challenge for me was a reminder of a couple of nice outings I had taking pictures. Back then, I needed that. ;) I also liked the opportunity to reprocess them knowing what I know now.

Based on my score, it didn't work, but I liked the excuse to go back and rework old images. :)

I thought this would do a lot better. I hope folks remember that the camera gear back then wasn't up to today's standards. A camera phone today has more features than what I was shooting with.

Wow, I'm amazed at how many great pictures are in this challenge. Or is it all photoshop? No matter. I haven't given out but only a couple of 5's so far, everything else has been 6 thru 9. Pretty amazing shots so far!

I can live with it since I could only find a handful of shots that I actually kept the originals to.

Listen everyone...you can all go to sleep safe in the knowledge that no one out there will get the brown! Why? Because I will.

I've only myself to blame . Why on earth did I think a photo taken 4 years ago would do better than my first entry to dpc taken one year ago which got the brown. Yikes!
Sorry team FZ, but I'm just trying to trick other teams into thinking I'm in a downhill spiral!

Please do not be sorry... You are an excellent photographer. You got nothing to be worried about. Every once in a while everyone submits an image that does not go over well. :( You will do better. I can tell.
