Got lucky when this wasp grabbed this Monarch Caterpiller. I was always told that these Monarch's were poison to preditors because of the "milkweed" that they eat.

My kids often hold the Monarch caterpillers. They are the "friendly" non-stinging kind.

Tac sharp focus. I would like a tighter crop but overall this is a great macro...

Great macro photo!! I think I would crop it up some, but overall it is terrific. The eye of the wasp is something else in your photo.

Thanks for the comments. I cropped a bit more and added info to the description.

The focus and composition and all that jazz are perfect. But the killer is the color. Well done!

Neat Image! Great find. I love the focus and clarity of nature just being nature.
