Whipped this up today. Wondering what you think of it.

Poor choice of font.. it's difficult to read against the busy background.

Will consider that JM, however in my rough prints, I was impressed with how readable it actualy turned out to be once the offset shadow was added.

Maybe that's cuz I know what I'm reading tho...

Thank you for the insight!

I would go with a simplistic photo, and simplistic font.

When it comes to bidness cardz, less is certainly more for me. ;-)

I tend to agree. Personally, I would go with a much cleaner look without a photo however, I understand having it since so many photographers do that. I just think it defeats the purpose, which is to communicate your business name and contact info, period. If I was handed your card I would probably remember your cool looking photo but not your name. Conversely, if someone gave me just a white card with only their name in red and their info on the back, what do you think I will remember if I lose that card? Their name or at least part of their name which could help me figure out who you were vs a memory of a photo to go by. Anyway, just my two cent.

Arcanist,
I agree that a simple photo would be better, and I am still not wild about the font on your redo either. I assume that you are advertising for mostly landscape type prints? If not you may also want to think about a different picture.

Yanko,
I had never thought of it that way...but you are right. I think I will change my business card in the near future. I am also going to make a specific one for just weddings. I do believe I will follow your advice.
