So my abstract food probably wasn't abstract for most, but it had a decent showing. I didn't get any comments so its hard to say what folks thought of it specifically.
I did do an outtake that I wanted to submit but I figured it'd be against the rules since it used a filter and I wasn't sure if it crossed the line too much for most of DPC voters AND the rules themselves.
I prefer it to the submitted one but what do you guys think?
:)

I like the filtered one! But woulda been DQ'd for sure. Nice colors on the shot. |

Have left a comment on your entry.
The filterd shot is very cool, but as Art pointed out, it would have been a sure fire DQ. |

This is the first one I submitted:
The abstract was the 'absence of food', you know food was there, but no longer?!?!
Went with this in the end:
had to reshoot it, but I think it fits the challenge better. Any thoughts?
Please comment.
