Post your outtakes from the Neon Signs challenge here.

I'm not sure if I should have entered this pic

instead of this one

I really liked the cactus and the light to the right the best, so I crop it close. I thought that I had invented something new. I had never heard of kinetic photography before. Who knew! Thanks to everyone who gave me a comment.

I think it was fine the way you entered it also very surprized it didnt do a lot better did a great job in keeping a smooth twist to the shot

I actually think your outtake is a little better. The movement seems more "complete" - and I like that you can see the other signs as well.

This was my other choice for Neon. Doubt it would have fared much worse

My other equally crappy outtakes.

I was thinking of posting this one instead of my 7th place entry. I wonder how this one would have done?

I like the one you entered best....although if you had entered the outtake....I may have done better with my entry!!!

My out take (above with just a test edit) would probably have scored better than my entry but I like my entry far more. It was quirky crop that goes against the DPC mindset but screw'em. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. For the record, I had to stand in busy traffic with a tripod to get these...not easy...a lot of horns honking in my right ear. Without that I might have gotten exactly what I really set out for.

My entry 6.09
