My image was handheld...but I apparently could have done better on the day.

Did I go with the right one? I prefer one of the others but my son talked me out of it....

Q.

I like the composition of your entry best, and the second outtake is my second choice - was that the one you thought of entering? Both of those are more "interesting" as far as composition than the straight side shots, though I appreciate any cycling shots - so thanks for sharing them!

This looked good in the frame, and caught the passenger, catching me.and also hand held on tripod unextended. My shutter speed was too high 1/200, also the same for entry.

What are your thoughts.

My First shot trial panning

This is my outtake but since i tried panning for the first time i was not too sure if i did it the right way, so i took it off at the last moment. Though now i feel it wud have done much better than my last minute entry in the Match challenge.

It'll be nice if anyone can critique it so that i'll be better prepared next time

I liked this shot much better than the one I entered, didn't think it was enough obvious panning, the horse suddenly made a sharp turn..

The entry
