| How about a challenge where a specific subject is picked? That way we can see how everyone approaches photographing the same thing? e.g. Everyone takes a picture of a cell phone. Poor example, but I'm sure one of you creative people could think of a better one. :) |

This would be a most interesting challenge! The one thing to be careful of is the international scope of this site. There are some things available to most of us, but not all.

Now that we have established that we are all gonna photogrpaph the same thing, i think that 'thing' should be nekkid chicks. All in favor?

I would prefer it wasn't something inanimate. For some reason photographing a hand seems like a cool idea to me. Or... a nose :)
Oh, I just saw the nekkid chick comment! That would suit me... self portrait! Do I have to shave my legs?

Hmmm, people complain when there are three or four images of the same things as they are voting. Can you imagine how bored we'd all get going through the voting screens for 100+ pictures of the same thing?

Actually, that was one of the things I was reading when the idea hit me. The same subject can look so different just by using different photographic techniques, by placing the subject in a different environment etc.
So I guess that means that you are INSPIRING! :o |

Boobies have already been covered in the 'self portrait' challenge... we need to move on to some other area...

well, i agree. it would definitely be fun to try at least once. see if the whole challenge interpretation issue was removed as a factor, then other things come into play : ) .
