I would really appreciate feedback on this, though I couldn't enter it.
Please? :)

Nope, you chose correctly ... the outtake is a bit busy with the shadows from the blinds and the chair ... I gave you a '7' on your entry ... really liked that one ...

Ummm...actually for the challenge, being conservatively inclined, I think your outtake fit the challenge better. However, based on the outcome of the challenge results your outtake probably wouldn't have scored as well. :D

Thanks for sharing the story behind this. FWIW, I like this photo and think it would have done well in the challenge. It's unique.

It is hard to like something better when you score a 6.8 and come in 7th! :D I agree that your outtake is nice. There is an entirely different feel and audience between the two IMO. The entry is fun, creative, albeit knowingly contrived. The outtake is glamorous, formal, and a touch mysterious.

I find the outtake more appealing, but would score the entry higher. Both could find a place framed on a wall somewhere. JMO of course. :P

I prefer your entry, when I was voting (and I gave it a 10) I thought it was by De Sousa. Your outtake is nice but the potted flower looks out of place.

I agree, it's a beautiful picture but the flowers seem very out of place.

Thanks, guys, for the kind comments :)

I thought it was Coley's or Yanko's because of the tones.

I also like the entered shot a lot. With some liquid dripping out of the cup it would've been an 11 ;) just to add to the effect, some flying debree always helps.

Outtake- After we shot this we figured out she should have been laying on her back, Duh! I put the blanket there because we had the couch up on paint cans.

Here is the entry. I decided I liked it better without the hands.

I like the outtake, Shez, but I prefer the one you entered!
