We've received literally hundreds of complaints about the Vanish challenge (and every other awful thing that's happened today), so we've replaced it with something that's a bit easier to do and extended the deadline.

Sorry!

48 hours? Why not 5 minutes? Surely that's enough time.

Langdon, there are the few among us who got a kick out of the fun things today - thanks for the amusement!

Now where in the world will I get a white cloth body part? :-)

Well my genitals are white, hold my pants up (belt) and is a body part. Too bad i cant drain it into a vase and clean up with a cloth.

No genitals alowed.

Is it going to be worth going out shooting for any of the future challenges if the challenge itself is to be arbitrarily done away with on a whim?
04/01/2007 05:06:58 PM · #17
Well, had a good time! No time tomorrow for the changed challenge. Luckely the free study is also "expert editing", so who knows....

And please fix up the submission details. You have sizing required as 640x640 but in the left column it sits at 720...make up your damn mind.

The circle of trust has once again been broken.

On an all serious note yall might want to PM shutterpug shes a bit upset that she feels the scores have been manipulated and how can she trust the site. Talked about quitting i hope not.

Nope. From now on it is much better to shoot only indoors.

Judi that states the expert editing rules on the left. Meaning they can be superceeded by the challenge description at anytime.

If they were to edit the left hand colum IT WILL show up on all challenges using that rule set.

An hour shooting and an hour editing. For absolutely nothing. A waste of a day when I could have been getting something done around the house.

Sorry ursula, but the joke has back fired! Would have been better to just cancel the speed challenge as an April Fool and leave it at that. There are a lot of bad feelings at the moment.

Hmmmm. I don't know. That will have to be asked beforehand in a ticket to SC.
